Parker Victor, MS, CSCS, USAW-1

Head Performance Coach

Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, Parker played multiple sports growing up before choosing to pursue a career in soccer. He attended high school at Shattuck-St. Mary’s College Prep School in Fairbault, Minnesota to continue to pursue his passion and dream of furthering his soccer career. After high school, Parker went on to play college soccer at Gonzaga University while studying Physical Education and Physical activity. After two years, Parker transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to finish his education and collegiate soccer journey. In 2016, Parker graduated from UNO with a Bachelor’s in General Studies focused on Physical Education, Psychology, and Health and Wellness. Immediately following his undergrad, he began his Master’s degree in Exercise Science/Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, completing the degree in December 2017 from California University of Pennsylvania.

 

His journey into Sports Performance was led by his collegiate sports experience and very influential strength and conditioning coaches he worked with while playing soccer in college.

 

Prior to becoming part of the staff at Athletes’ Training Center, Parker spent time at Creighton
University working with Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball and Football at the University of Nebraska. He also got valuable experience working with youth athletes at Going Vertical in Omaha.

 

In the advancing world of sports performance, Parker enjoys keep up and furthering his education in the field by consulting with other coaches and attending Continuing-Education courses that allow him to stay up to date and fresh in order to give athletes the best training possible. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

 

In his spare time, Parker enjoys weight training and outdoor activities such as hiking and biking as well as the occasional trip home to spend time with family. With Omaha now his new home, he is looking forward to learning and becoming a part of the Omaha sports and fitness community.
